1. Project consulting:
MAMA is an investor with an active interest in developing the business of the Investment Targets. Our Investment Managers ensure they are well advised by top experts on the respective investment areas before and during each investment, but especially afterwards. We organise regular workshops with our Investment Targets in which we critically examine the current market environment for the specific technologies. In this way we provide an important space that offers clear support to the founders of new businesses, enabling them to look beyond their own horizons and reach the right strategic decisions.

2. Emission reduction consulting:
We are experts when it comes to activating the commercial potential for achieving CO2 reductions which can be gained directly or indirectly through the ideas or technologies of our Investment Targets (case study: Kanndas Solar). For this reason with our Investment Targets, we offer them corresponding programmes which we establish and also finance through which CO2 certificates can be generated across the globe. This can lead to the accelerated market launch of new products as the return can be clearly increased in several cases.

3. MAMA energy contracting:
Overcoming the investment hurdles for renewable energies.
When our Investment Targets are active in the renewable energies and technologies area, in certain cases through the use of our “Energy Contracting Programme” we ourselves are able to speed up the market launch of the technologies via our own fund. Instead of the end customer buying the (solar/wind/etc.) unit or system for instance, it is purchased by the MAMA Fund and a long-term energy supply contract is concluded with the customer. This generates immediate sales for our Investment Targets, the customers gain a long-term reduction in their energy costs and it establishes regular annual income from the energy field for the fund.
