In the past few years, the global market for sustainable investments has witnessed dynamic growth. Even when the financial crisis reached its darkest hour in 2008/2009, this positive trend was not interrupted.

In Europe alone, the volume for investments in sustainability increased from 18.7 billion euros in 2007 to over 30 billion euros in 2009.The market continues to look optimistic for the future. During the next three years, sustainable market growth rates are expected to as much as double in comparison to the total market. And for a good reason, too: the area of sustainability currently finds itself on a growth path which is completely independent of external factors in the medium and long term, and therefore offers excellent perspectives.
