3M joins German Sustainability Incubator MAMA as lead investor

Berlin, January 25, 2010 – 3M (http://3M.com) and German Sustainability Corporation “MAMA Sustainable Incubation AG” (http://www.mama.io) announce a strategic partnership with 3M as lead investor. MAMA is developing projects in a holistic manner, combining the best in alternative energy and green-tech science applying their own fund structure. MAMA addresses innovative ideas from areas such as renewable energy, green technologies, sustainable architecture, water treatment, etc. to maximize both the ecological and socio-economical value.

MAMA is based in Berlin, Germany. The company was founded by long-standing European Entrepreneurs Paulus Neef, Volker Weber and Nikolas Samios and will start operations in early 2010.
